Soma Cube is a 3D puzzle game invented by Piet Hein in 1933. Inspired by pentomino puzzles it is a collection of seven pieces (polycubes) made out of unit cubes which must be assembled into a 3x3 cube. It is also know under the name Block by Block. The seven pieces can be used to make many different 3D shapes. Currently the game has 60 different shapes to solve.
