A "DitLoID" is a type of an alpha-numeric puzzle in which a phrase, fact, quotation, novel, quantity or a well known saying must be deduced from a set of numbers and letters in a clue. Common words such as 'the', 'in', 'a', 'an', 'of', 'to', etc. Are not normally abbreviated.
