Walk round the town walls of Calleva Atrebatum, the Roman Town now known as Silchester, learning about what remains of the town and what archaeologists have learnt from their excavations about life in Roman Britain. Silchester is just south of Reading, in Hampshire, and is easily reached by car, train or bicycle.
